Gadi Oron has been promoted by CISAC to Director General from General Counsel.

Vine hired Carolyn Penner as its new Head of Communication, taking her away from her position as Head of Product Communications at TwitterRachel Millner is taking over the vacant position at Twitter.

Shelby Kennedy is TuneCore‘s new Vice President of Entertainment Relations, running a new Nashville office.

Marsha Vlasic is the new President of Artist Group International.  Vlasic is leaving her position as SVP of Concerts at ICM, taking all of her clients with her, including Neil Young, Elvis Costello, The Strokes, Muse, Moby, Iggy and the Stooges, and Ben Folds.

Universal Music South East Asia has appointed four new regional Heads of Digital and Business Development: Loo Yew Ming is based in Kuala Lumpur, and will travel across Indonesia, Malaysia, the Philippines, Singapore, and Thailand; Andrew Chan will be in charge of Greater China and will travel across Hong Kong, China, and Taiwan; Ashish Joshi is in charge of Greater India and will travel across Bangladesh, India, Pakistan, and Sri Lanka; andJason Roh is in charge of Korea and is based in Seoul.

SFX Entertainment has hired Liz Miller as VP of Artists and Labels.

SPIN Editor-in-Chief Craig Marks left after only three months with the company.

Management company Crush Music (Sia, Wavves, Cobra Starship) has launched Crush Concepts, a new venture that will “help brands with their music initiatives.”

Townsquare Media acquired XXL, which will become exclusively digital.

The Fader has made a number of hires: Naomi Zeichner is the new Editor-in-Chief, Joseph Patel is VP of Content, Shomi Patwary is Senior Video Producer, and Jessica Robertson is Senior Director of Content and Strategy.

Def Jam Recordings named David Bell its SVP of Integrated Marketing and Strategy.

Three Six Zero, a management company with clients include Feed Me, Frank Ocean, and Anabel Englund has hired Arif Mahmud as UK General Manager; Matt Vines and Phil Sales have been promoted to Vice Presidents of UK Artist Management; and COO James Sealey is relocating to Los Angeles to manage worldwide operations.

SoundCloud has named Stephen Bryan its new SVP of Business Development and Strategy.

Maria Osherova has been promoted by Warner Music Group to EVP of Human Resources.

Artist Publishing Group hired Angie Pagano as its General Manager, Michael “Kiko” Akiko as Sr. Director of A&R, and Miles Beard as Director of Pop/Dance A&R.

A number of big changes at  SESACJohn Josephson has been named Chairman and CEO; Pat Collins has been promoted to President and CEO of SESAC Performance Rights; and Kelli Turner has been hired as EVP of Corporate Development and CFO.

Madison Square Garden Company hired Sean Creamer as Executive Vice President and Chief Financial Officer.

BMG Chrysalis U.S. named Brian Suh Senior Director of Business Affairs.

Rob Guthrie was promoted to Head of Operations at Songs Music Publishing.

Zach Horowitz has stepped down from his position as Chairman/CEO of Universal Music Publishing Group after 30 years with the company. Jody Gerson will replace Horowitz, effective January 1st, 2015, leaving her position as co-president of Sony/ATV Publishing.

Sony/ATV promoted Brian Monaco to EVP, Worldwide Head of Advertising, Film and TV.

Wes Vause was named SVP of Publicity at Warner Music Nashville.

Shiva Rajaraman left her position as YouTube‘s Director of Product Management to join Spotify,
